On Thursday 15th September, a VIP selection of collectors, gallerists and philanthropists attended a private champagne reception held in the exhibition space, followed by a second reception and seated dinner at the award winning Craft Restaurant. The exhibition and event was held once again in collaboration with Sotheby's
The dinner was held in the presence of distinguished artist and guest of honour Fereydoun Ave, and the keynote speaker for the evening was established collector and philanthropist Mohammed Afkhami. The auctioneer for the evening was Andrea Fiuczynski, Chairman of the Americas for Sotheby’s, and MOP is delighted to announce that over $140,000 was raised!

The proceeds from this auction will benefit the Friends of MOP Foundation initiatives, providing much needed opportunities for talented individual artists inside and outside of Iran. Through its various programmes and activities, the charity strives to make a long-term advancement of Iranian art and culture worldwide.
