MOP CAP 2009 Winner’s Exhibition, Saatchi Gallery, Autumn 2010
Mahmoud Bakhshi Moakhar, the winner of the Magic of Persia Contemporary Art Prize 2009 (MOP CAP), has been awarded a solo show in one of the exhibition spaces at the Saatchi Gallery, London. The exhibition will be running from 27th of September to 10th of October 2010.
The Saatchi Gallery aims to provide an innovative forum for contemporary art, presenting work by largely unseen young artists or by international artists whose work has been rarely or never exhibited in the UK.

The Delfina Foundation Residencies
Magic of Persia in partnership with the Delfina Foundation offers a three-month residency in London for an artist from Iran. Ala Deghan was selected from the MOP CAP short-list, and will be provided with a career-defining opportunity at The Delfina Foundation to develop and share her work with UK-based artists, audiences, and cultural institutions. Ala’s residency will begin 4th Jan 2011 and continue through to 28th Mar 2011. Read more
