Iranian Family Weekend at the Victoria & Albert Museum, 9th-10th September 2006

The Family Weekend ran in conjunction with the opening of the permanent exhibition at the Jameel Islamic Gallery. Three weekend events featured and celebrated Arabic, Turkish and Iranian art. Magic of Persia sponsored, managed and organised the Iranian art and heritage weekend activities entitled, Poetry, Picnics and Persian Pastimes. The different activities featured included dance, music, a film workshop, film screenings, tombak workshops and epic narration.
