| 20 Fingers Film Screening, 21st April, 2005 |
| A film by Mania Akbari, director/actor and
Bijan Daneshmand, producer/actor, won the Venice Film Festival
Award in the Digital Category. The film, in the Persian language
with English subtitles, explores gender relations and the way men
and women in Iran interact within the confines of their own expectations
and society's rules. Following the film screening therewas a Q&A
session with Mania Akbari, translated expertly by Vali Mahloudji.
Proceeds from the event went to the Magic of Persia-David Elghanayan
