Donate to the Magic of Persia Education Programme
We aim to promote the education and culture of the persianate world.
It is becoming increasingly evident that attention must be given to educating the youth about Persian art, literature, history and culture and in particular, the legacy of Cyrus the Great.
It is our belief that with the support of our friends & generous supporters, we can make a significant difference. A mutual aspiration which is shared by all those involved in Magic of Persia is to eventually see the history of Ancient Persia introduced into the school curriculum.
The Magic of Persia Education Programme is designed to provide the necessary tools and support for young children and schools to learn about this rich culture.
We have an extensive programme of ongoing workshops and Family Day activities
in conjunction with the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Museum,
including gallery visits, exhibition workshops and school programmes. Over
15,000 young children and their families participated in the British Museum
Family Day November, 2005, and over 40,000 participated in the V&A Museum Family
Weekend in September, 2006.
The Magic of Persia Education Programme has proven to be a great success and we anticipate that it will continue to go from strength to strength.
If you would like your child's school to be invited to attend these workshops
which start at the British Museum in September 2007, please contact us to discuss
further. info@magicofpersia.com |
